FILM REQUIREMENTS
  • Format: MP4 (standard smartphone video format; vertical or horizontal shooting is allowed).
    Animations may be created through filming and edited using any mobile editing software.
  • Duration: up to 5 minutes
  • Animations must have been produced no earlier than 2025
  • Please provide your contact details in the application:
    Full name, country, region, city, educational institution/studio, email address, and phone number.
Animations may be produced in any technique

  • Alexander Afonasyev
    Director and Production Supervisor at Parovoz Studio. Worked on the animated series “Mimimishki”, “Fairy Patrol”, and “Fairy Patrol: Chronicles of Wonders”. Winner of the Special Prize at Cartoon Club Award 2024 – the International Festival of Animation, Comics, and Games.
  • Angelina Gilderman
    Animation director at Sharovaya Molniya Studio. Author of films awarded at Russian and international festivals. Supervising director of the international animation project “SANTE ET TROPICA”. Lecturer at the Kids Department of Design and Digital Arts at the Stroganov Russian State University of Arts and Industry.
  • Tatyana Osadchaya
    Animator specializing in hand-drawn and cut-out animation. Has worked on projects for studios Media-Osnovy, Voskresenye, Animakot, Sakhnovskiy Park, and Magnetic, as well as independent short films and freelance commissions. Stop-motion animation instructor for children. Animation teacher at the College of Decorative and Applied Arts, Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry.
  • Natalia Varlamova
    Animation Film Artist at the Faculty of Animation, Synergy University. Member of the Union of Artists and the Union of Cinematographers.
  • Sofia Bogdanova
    Animation Director at SHAR School-Studio. Author and participant of animation projects awarded at Russian and international festivals. Recipient of the Gold Prize at the 29th Saxony State Championship (Germany, 2017), and participant in the Phase workshop (Poland) and the Tavrida Art Cluster (2021).
  • Elena Kazachinskaya
    Editor-in-Chief of the “Culture of St. Petersburg” portal, member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, and author of documentary films about cities and their history.
  • Olga Dudina
    Theatre actress and director, voice actress in animated projects (The Magic Kindergarten, Doggy and His Travel Diary, etc.). Since 2002, she has been a participant in Vyacheslav Polunin’s projects, including carnivals in Paris at the Yellow Mill. Laureate of international theatre, film, and art festivals, winner of creative competitions and poetry slams.
  • Valdis Pelenitsyn
    Actor, director, and screenwriter. For seven years, he created original projects for the leading television and radio broadcaster in Southern Russia. He was a finalist in the Disney Russia competition and in international film festivals, including Stockholm City Film Festival, New Zealand Indie Film Festival, Luleå International Film Festival, and others. He works in short and documentary filmmaking. As part of the festival, he will lead a storytelling masterclass for animation creators.
